To contrast yesterday’s post, I’ve decided to put up the worst meal I’ve ever had.  This was a sea urchin soup that I had for breakfast when I was traveling in South America and as someone who doesn’t like foods tasting of the sea, it was truly a nightmare.

This cake was so good that I just had to repost it for the week of food pictures. Given it’s a repost I’ll provide some new information. This multi-layered chocolate cake was photographed (and eaten) in a hospital in Chile. My sister was sick and visited the Otorrinolaringología, which roughly translates as the ear, nose and throat office.  As a celebration of tracking down this rather obscure medical center we found the cafeteria and were greeted by the best cake I’ve ever tasted (thus far).
