Taken on June 18th, 2014. Lightning is always a fun and challenging subject to photograph and yesterday’s early morning storm had me rushing for my camera. Unfortunately I wasn’t using a tripod (like during a 2010 D.C. heat lighting storm), but I’m still happy with this result. I had to use a 1-second exposure to mitigate hand-held issues whereas this was 30-seconds with a tripod.
