This sculpture is terrifying and amazing up close, but a picture doesn’t fully do it justice.  It will be on display at the Hirshhorn until November 2009.

This image is a high dynamic range (HDR) image of the Washington Monument that I took a few years ago. I never got around to actually working on the image, but it turned out much more vibrant and color saturated than I expected.

Anyways, I thought it would be appropriate for the 4th, hope everyone has a happy independence day!
